Job summary

KW Property Management and Consulting is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance at a Kissimmee community. This hourly, non-exempt role reports to the Property Manager for prioritizing work and to the Chief Maintenance Engineer for quality and safety.

The role requires at least two years in building trades, ability to handle emergency calls, and strong communication. Duties include preventive maintenance and timely work orders to keep residents satisfied.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years general experience in building trades, repair and maintenance.
• Ability to react to emergencies within 30 minutes and be available after hours.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Additional trade experience and certifications may be required at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance on building interior and exterior.
• Contacts and schedules vendors for repairs outside routine maintenance.
• Maintains a schedule of when maintenance has been performed and next due.
• Ensures safety of self and others and maintains a safe work environment.
• Maintains equipment and supports preventive maintenance.
• Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required.
