Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Hollister, MO is seeking a General Maintenance/Duty Engineer to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventive tasks across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and building systems to keep facilities guest-ready.

You will respond to maintenance requests, inspect equipment, document work orders, and coordinate with other departments while upholding safety standards and Bass Pro policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in general maintenance, facilities maintenance, building engineering, or related technical field.
• Valid Missouri E or Arkansas D driver's license with P endorsement.
• HVAC, EPA Section 608, electrical, plumbing, or related trade certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, appliances, fixtures, and building systems.
• Respond promptly to guest room, public area, and operational department maintenance requests.
• Inspect equipment, facilities, and building systems to identify safety concerns and needed repairs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems and complete repairs within training scope.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on guest rooms, equipment, machinery, and property systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records and inventories.
