Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a General Maintenance/Duty Engineer for our Anglers – Hollister, MO location. This full-time role covers routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across the property to keep facilities safe, functional, and guest-ready.

You will respond to maintenance requests, perform preventive tasks, and address mechanical, electrical, and building systems issues while delivering prompt, professional service to guests and team members.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years in general maintenance or related field.
• Missouri “E” or Arkansas “D” driver’s license with “P” endorsement.
• HVAC, EPA Section 608, electrical, or plumbing certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, appliances, fixtures, and general building systems.
• Respond to guest room, public area, and operational department maintenance requests.
• Inspect equipment, facilities, and building systems for safety concerns and needed repairs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems and complete repairs within training scope.
• Perform preventive maintenance on guest rooms, equipment, machinery, and property systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and parts used and repairs completed.
• Coordinate with other departments to minimize disruption to guests and business operations.
• Provide courteous and professional service to guests, team members, contractors, and vendors.
• All other duties as assigned.
