Fitch Irick Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Granite Falls, NC to keep our affordable housing properties running safely and smoothly. You will work with a team to perform routine tasks, emergency repairs, and unit turnovers, ensuring high-quality living spaces for residents.

The role requires at least 1 year of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel between properties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA/CFC certification preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Occasional travel between properties may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Care for property grounds, buildings, and amenities with routine inspections.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Respond quickly to maintenance requests and repair issues.
• Turn over units between residents, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
• Handle emergency repairs and document incidents for records.
• Ensure safety and Fair Housing compliance across properties.
