Job summary

LiCAP Technologies, a Sacramento-based manufacturer of advanced energy storage electrodes, seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep our production line running safely and reliably. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on various equipment and assist in installing new systems as we scale our line.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, read drawings, and work with hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on mechanical maintenance in manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong troubleshooting on mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, parts diagrams, and manuals.
• Comfort with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring tools; basic fabrication.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand long periods, and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment (roll-to-roll calenders, powder handling/mixing systems, slitters, winders, assembly equipment).
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems (bearings, gearboxes, rollers, belts, chains, pumps, seals).
• Perform shaft/roller alignment, lubrication, and component rebuilds.
• Maintain facility support systems (compressed air, dust collection, chillers, dry rooms).
• Assist vendors/engineers to install and commission new equipment.
• Keep PM schedules, work orders, and spare parts inventory organized.
• Follow lockout/tagout and safety practices.
