Leggett & Platt in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to keep our production and facilities running safely. You’ll perform routine preventive maintenance and troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

You will diagnose issues, repair/replace motors, pumps and gearboxes, read manuals and blueprints, and assist with installation of new equipment. Safety is a core priority.

Qualifications

• Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) on production and facility equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and implement repairs.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, schematics and electrical drawings.

Responsabilités

• Performs Preventive Maintenance (PM) on production and facility equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and implement repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair/replace motors, pumps, gearboxes and other industrial equipment.
• Use hand and power tools, welding equipment and diagnostic instruments.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, schematics and electrical drawings.
• Support installation and setup of new equipment or machinery.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and input data into AMMS.
• Follow all safety procedures including Fall Protection, Hot Work, Confined Space and Lockout/Tagout.
