Job summary

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance in a factory setting. You will diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control system issues, source parts, and operate machining tools to repair components.

The role emphasizes 5S, safety, and continuous improvement within a demanding industrial environment. The position requires an on-site presence with travel possible.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree with technical focus or 5 years general industry experience.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and fluid power control systems.
• Able to use basic and specialized tools.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform mid to expert level break-fix & preventative maintenance; locate root cause and repair devices.
• Identify and source parts, supplies and repair items as necessary.
• Independently perform maintenance per industry standards.
• Operate machining operations and welding as needed.
• Follow 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Drive CI activities, review CMMS history and implement cost-saving measures.
• Troubleshoot control systems to resolve software/hardware issues and update records.
• Provide training support and assist lower level technicians.
