Job summary

ATS is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance in a factory setting. You will observe devices, locate root causes, dismantle parts, and repair or replace defective components while testing performance and ensuring safety standards.

Responsibilities include sourcing parts, operating machining tasks, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

High School Graduate or GED.
Associate degree with a technical focus plus 3 years related experience, or 5 years general industry experience.
Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems; can analyze problems and repair.
Ability to use basic and specialized tools as appropriate.
May be required to travel.

Responsibilities

Perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance, including troubleshooting and repair of devices and controls.
Identify and source parts, supplies and repair items as needed.
Independently perform maintenance per industry standards.
Operate machining setups and welding tasks as needed.
Follow 5S/housekeeping standards and participate in CI activities.
Update CMMS history and records; review equipment data.
Troubleshoot control systems to resolve software/hardware issues.
Assist lower level technicians and lead small teams during training.
Complete on-the-job and technical self-study for career development.
Adhere to safety policies and guidelines.
