Job summary

Locke Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment safe, reliable, and running. You will minimize downtime, manage the supplier portfolio, and drive continuous improvement with a hands-on approach.

The role reports to the Production Manager and requires strong communication, teamwork, and practical maintenance skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, or plant maintenance preferred.
• Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Basic welding and fabrication skills.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and general industrial safety practices.
• Ability to use basic diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential problems before they cause downtime.
• Maintain and repair molds, tools, fixtures, guards, and other production-related equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, parts used, and equipment issues.
• Work closely with the Production and Operations teams to minimize interruptions to the production schedule.
• Assist with equipment installation, commissioning, modifications, and improvements.
• Keep the maintenance area, tools, and equipment organized and in good working condition.
