Job summary

Waterford Real Estate Management is seeking a Boiler Specialist to support the Maintenance Manager in ensuring safe, efficient boiler systems across our residential communities in New Jersey. You will operate, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize boilers, burners, pumps, and related equipment while adhering to safety policies and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Boiler operator/Stationary Engineer license or equivalent required.
• OSHA safety training certification preferred.
• CMMS experience helpful.
• Industrial, commercial, or residential boiler system knowledge.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, operate, maintain, and repair boilers, burners, pumps, valves, piping systems, and related equipment.
• Monitor boiler performance for efficiency, reliability, and safety.
• Diagnose issues and perform corrective maintenance.
• Conduct preventive maintenance per schedule.
• Perform water quality testing and treatment to prevent corrosion.
• Maintain records, inspection reports, and logs.
• Respond to boiler emergencies and assist with startups/shutdowns.
• Coordinate with vendors during repairs and upgrades.
• Train staff on proper boiler operation and safety procedures.
