Job summary

Waterford Real Estate Management LLC is seeking a Boiler Specialist to assist the Maintenance Manager in operating and maintaining boiler systems across residential communities in New Jersey. The role focuses on safe, efficient boiler operation, preventive maintenance, and timely work order completion within budget goals.

You will diagnose mechanical and control system issues, coordinate with contractors, and train staff on proper boiler operation and safety.

Qualifications

• Boiler Operator License or equivalent certification.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical or mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• OSHA safety training certification.
• High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, operate, maintain, and repair boilers, burners, pumps, valves, piping systems, and associated equipment.
• Monitor boiler performance to ensure optimal efficiency, reliability, and safety.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Perform water quality testing and treatment to prevent corrosion and system failure.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and codes.
