Job summary

Highlands Behavioral Health System is seeking a maintenance professional to uphold a safe and clean environment in Littleton, CO. You’ll perform routine building tasks, manage supplies, and respond quickly to alarms, ensuring smooth daily operations for patients, staff, and guests.

The role requires basic HVAC knowledge, familiarity with tools, and a valid Colorado driver’s license, with a focus on dependable service and proper records. This is a hands-on position within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • One year in a hospital environment preferred.
  • Must have basic knowledge of HVAC equipment, electrical, plumbing, mechanical equipment.
  • Familiar with hand and power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Must be able to comprehend and perform oral and written instructions and procedures.
  • Must possess a valid Colorado Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains organization’s grounds and facility cleanliness.
  • Performs routine building maintenance tasks and services.
  • Prepares facility for special functions.
  • Responds to alarms and codes in a timely manner.
  • Keeps maintenance logs and records; assists with inventory of supplies.
  • Assists with inventory of patient belongings.
  • Delivers hospital supplies and supports service-excellence.

This position ensures the maintenance of a safe, clean, healthy physical environment for parties, staff and guests of the facility.

  • Maintains organization’s grounds.
  • Carries out routine building maintenance tasks.

  • Ordering, delivering, and inventory of hospital supplies.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Education/Experience: High school graduate or equivalent. One (1) year in a Hospital environment preferred.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Must have basic knowledge of H.V.A.C. equipment, electrical, plumbing, mechanical equipment and plant operations.
  • Familiar use of hand and power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments.
  • Must be able to comprehend and perform oral and written instructions and procedures;
  • Must be capable of adapting to varying workloads an work assignments on a constant basis;
  • Must possess a valid Colorado Driver’s License with a clear driving record, in order to drive hospital vehicles.
