Job summary

Highlands Behavioral Health System in Littleton, CO is seeking a Lead Tech to plan and implement activity services for the assigned program as part of the treatment team and under the direction of the CNO.

You will provide continuous patient care, observation, interaction, and role modeling for patients, help train behavioral health technicians, and support inpatient services for adolescents, adults and seniors. Shift hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Degree or equivalent, required.
• Experience: One year of related experience with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques and understanding of mental illness.
• Experience training and developing staff in psychiatric patient care techniques preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement activity services for assigned program as part of the treatment team.
• Provide continuous patient care, observation, interaction, and role modeling under the direction of the CNO.
• Assist in training behavioral health technicians.
