Job summary

Arvato is a leading global 3PL provider seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our facility running smoothly by maintaining conveyance and automation systems. You will work with a team to install, repair, and complete assigned projects across the site.

The role emphasizes preventative maintenance, fast response to breakdowns, and collaboration with external service providers. Strong problem solving and training abilities are valued.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to utilize computers/computer-based monitoring equipment to diagnose material handling systems and building automation systems.
• Must be team-oriented
• Must possess strong analytical/problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be self-directed and goal-oriented
• Must have knowledge of commercial power distribution
• Ability to train junior personnel
• Able to lead/direct projects and repairs in all areas of the floor as assigned by the Manager

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the continuous operation of Hardware Fixtures, equipment and tools
• Identifying the causes of equipment malfunctions and downtime, and implementing preventive measures
• Preparation of checklists and supplementary instructions for the technical documentation
• Maintaining and servicing Hardware Fixtures, equipment and tools
• Collaborating and troubleshooting with external service providers
• Implementation of optimizations
