Job summary

PLK Communities is an owner and manager of residential apartment communities. We are seeking a skilled Part-time Maintenance Technician to support property upkeep and resident move-ins.

You will perform a variety of maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC support, respond to emergencies on-call, and help maintain grounds and common areas across properties. This role offers benefits and potential for bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Maintenance or “handyman” experience required.
• Apartment/multi-family maintenance experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform any and all property maintenance needs
• Prepare apartments for new residents
• Completes work orders
• Basic Carpentry
• Plumbing
• Electrical Systems
• Mechanical Systems
• Small Appliance Repair
• Maintenance of the property grounds and common areas
• HVAC service and repair (willing to train)
• Ensure proper removal and disposal of trash
