Brookside Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician for The Palmer, a multifamily community in Ridgeland, SC. Join a respected team known for quality work and dependable service, with EPA certifications preferred and HVAC experience valuable.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, preparing vacants, maintaining pools and amenities, and participating in on-call rotations while upholding OSHA, EPA, and Fair Housing standards.

Qualifications

• EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) required.
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience (multifamily preferred).
• HVAC experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Own basic tools and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work outdoors and walk the property regularly.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and service requests promptly.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents.
• Maintain pool and amenities (CPO required).
• Respond to after-hours emergencies (on-call rotation).
• Uphold OSHA, EPA, and Fair Housing standards.
• Track supply inventory and equipment maintenance.
