Job summary

Progressive Foam Tech, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician A to support its expanding maintenance team. You will perform routine preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, and work with production staff to keep downtime to a minimum.

The role requires a strong safety mindset, the ability to read blueprints, and the capacity to lead and train lower-level technicians. A 3rd shift with weekend work is possible, and you may serve both Beach City and Gnadenhutten

Qualifications

• Intermediate knowledge of blue print and schematic reading.
• Intermediate knowledge of plumbing – copper, black iron, steel, pvc piping.
• Intermediate knowledge of pneumatic devices and troubleshooting.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical machinery and troubleshooting.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical circuits, control systems and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a positive attitude and upholds Company Core Values (Integrity, Respect, Excellence, Service).
• Observes Plant Safety rules and works safely.
• Performs routine and non-routine maintenance tasks on equipment and facility.
• Records maintenance work activities and parts usage.
• Leads, mentors, and trains Maintenance Technicians B and C.
• Acts as supervisor in absence of Maintenance Manager when requested.
