Job description

Essential Job Qualifications:

The Maintenance Technician is required to work relatively independently. They are required to perform multi-craft repair work on building and equipment as needed. They must also create work instructions and documents. They are required to maintain the sprinkler system, fire system, roofing, Plater and repair various machines to include CNC and screw machines. They also must be willing to work in confined spaces, extreme heights, wear a respirator and lift heavy objects. They are required to work with high voltage electrical systems. They also must respond quickly in a professional manner to a multitude of stressful situations. They are required to maintain a power equipment license. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the company’s mission statement and the overall business objectives.

Two available shifts: 3:00PM - 11:30PM (2nd); 11:00PM - 7:00AM (3rd)

Required Qualifications:

• Prior industrial maintenance experience is required (3-5 years)
• Ability to interpret reports & analyze data
• Computer skills
• Vo-Tech certification or technical degree

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Basic working knowledge of PLCs
• Monitor building and equipment in order to document and perform preventive maintenance
• Possess knowledge of conveying and sorting equipment
• Read blue-prints, electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication
• High degree of accuracy
• Flexibility to changing priorities
• Flexibility to work overtime

Hourly Rate: $31.73 plus a shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shifts
