The position features daytime hours, a strong emphasis on safety, and opportunities to coordinate with contractors and vocational programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; advanced degrees are a plus.
• At least one year of proven success in building maintenance.
• Certifications in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or boilers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality repairs and preventative maintenance on facilities, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Review completed tasks from maintenance personnel to ensure top-tier quality standards and mentor students.
• Research and recommend smart equipment purchases to boost facility safety and performance.
• Oversee training activities and monitor work-based learning assignments for maintenance students.
• Supervise outside contractors to guarantee seamless execution on large repair or replacement jobs.
• Conduct thorough, periodic inspections of building systems to catch issues early.
• Collaborate daily with vocational programs and staff across departments to enhance student support and facility operations.

Schedule & Shift

• Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Days: Monday through Friday.

What You Bring to the Team

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (advanced degrees are a plus).
• Experience: At least one year of proven success in building maintenance.
• Technical Chops: Working knowledge or certifications in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or boilers are highly preferred.
• Mobility: A valid NH driver's license (or equivalent) and the ability to meet company insurability standards.
• Physical Strength: Ready to sit, stand, climb, walk, and lift up to 40 pounds (or more with assistance).
• Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent organizational habits, and a passion for mentoring young learners with respect and accountability.
