ADAMS AND ASSOCIATES INC. in Manchester, NH is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our Center’s infrastructure running smoothly for a vibrant learning community. The role blends hands-on repairs with mentoring trade students, ensuring facilities support student success.

The position features daytime hours, a strong emphasis on safety, and opportunities to coordinate with contractors and vocational programs.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent; advanced degrees are a plus.
At least one year of proven success in building maintenance.
Certifications in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or boilers preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality repairs and preventative maintenance on facilities, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Review completed tasks from maintenance personnel to ensure top-tier quality standards and mentor students.
Research and recommend smart equipment purchases to boost facility safety and performance.
Oversee training activities and monitor work-based learning assignments for maintenance students.
Supervise outside contractors to guarantee seamless execution on large repair or replacement jobs.
Conduct thorough, periodic inspections of building systems to catch issues early.
Collaborate daily with vocational programs and staff across departments to enhance student support and facility operations.
