Job summary

AWI Management Corp. in Marysville, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a 48-unit apartment community on a full-time basis.

The role focuses on keeping the property well-maintained, safe, and welcoming for residents and visitors. Responsibilities include completing work orders, basic trades (painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry), and preventative maintenance to keep systems in good condition.

Responsibilities

• Completing maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Performing general maintenance tasks including painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• Assisting with preventative maintenance to keep building systems in good working condition.
• Maintaining the grounds and landscaping for curb appeal.
• Assisting with annual apartment inspections and identifying maintenance needs.
• Coordinating with the Property Manager to order supplies and manage vendors.
• Maintaining positive relationships with residents, vendors, and staff.
• Reporting lease or house rule violations when observed.
• Responding to emergency maintenance situations.
• Following company policies and procedures.

Experience with general building maintenance and landscaping is preferred, and experience with affordable housing programs (HUD, LIHTC, or RD) is a plus.

Basic Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Authorized to work in the United States
