Job summary

Your key responsibilities will include completing maintenance requests effectively and assisting with preventative maintenance. An ideal candidate will have strong organization and communication skills, along with experience in building maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience with general building maintenance and landscaping is preferred.
• Experience with affordable housing programs (HUD, LIHTC, or RD) is a plus.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• Assist with preventative maintenance to ensure building systems remain in good condition.

WhatYou'llDo

As the Maintenance Technician, you will help ensure the property is wellmaintained, safe, and welcoming for residents and visitors.

Key responsibilities include:

• Completing maintenance requests and work ordersin a timely manner
• Performinggeneral maintenance tasksincluding painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs
• Assistingwithpreventative maintenanceto ensure building systemsremainin good working condition
• Maintaining thegrounds and landscapingto support strong curb appeal
• Assistingwithannual apartment inspectionsandidentifyingmaintenance needs
• Working with the Property Manager to coordinate vendors and order supplies
• Maintaining positive relationships with residents, vendors, and staff
• Reporting lease or house rule violations when observed
• Responding appropriately toemergency maintenance situations
• Following company policies and procedures

• General groundskeeping and landscaping experience

Basic Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Authorized to work in the United States
