Job summary

AWI Management Corp. seeks a Maintenance Technician to support an 88-unit apartment community in San Joaquin, CA. This full-time position focuses on maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and capable of handling painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and landscaping tasks, with occasional inspections and on-call responses. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with general building maintenance and landscaping.
• Experience with subsidized housing programs (HUD, LIHTC, or RD) is helpful.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Completing maintenance requests and work orders promptly.
• Performing general maintenance tasks including painting, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• Assisting with preventative maintenance to keep building systems in good condition.
• Maintaining grounds and landscaping for curb appeal.
• Assisting with annual apartment inspections and identifying maintenance needs.
• Working with the Property Manager to coordinate vendors and supplies.
• Maintaining positive relationships with residents, vendors, and staff.
• Reporting lease or house rule violations when observed.
• Responding to emergency maintenance situations as needed.

WhatYou'llDo

As the Maintenance Technician, you will help ensure the property is wellmaintained, safe, and welcoming for residents and visitors.

Key responsibilities include:
