Job summary

Woda Cooper Companies, Inc. seeks a Service Technician for Johnston Crossing I & II in Johnston, IA. You’ll handle general and emergency maintenance, assist with turnover, and keep the property attractive and safe for residents.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and follow oral and written directions in English.
• Previous maintenance experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive interactions with residents and the public to enhance the community image.
• Perform general and emergency maintenance of apartments and common areas.
• Turnover of apartments including cleaning, painting, carpet care and repairs.
• Identify and address maintenance problems; document inspections.
• Be available for emergencies after hours, weekends, or holidays as assigned.
• Utilize company databases and software programs.
