Job summary

AWI Management Corporation is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a 48-unit apartment community in Madera, CA. Responsibilities

  • Completing maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner.
  • Performing general maintenance tasks including painting, cleaning, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
  • Assisting with preventative maintenance to ensure building systems remain in good working condition.
  • Maintaining the grounds and landscaping to support strong curb appeal.
  • Responding appropriately to emergency maintenance situations.

We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to help maintain a 48-unit apartment community in Madera, CA. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and values creating a safe and well-maintained environment for residents.

What You'll Do

As the Maintenance Technician, you will help ensure the property is well maintained, safe, and welcoming for residents and visitors.

  • Completing maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner
  • Performing general maintenance tasks including painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs
  • Assisting with preventative maintenance to ensure building systems remain in good working condition
  • Maintaining the grounds and landscaping to support strong curb appeal
  • Assisting with annual apartment inspections and identifying maintenance needs
  • Working with the Property Manager to coordinate vendors and order supplies
  • Maintaining positive relationships with residents, vendors, and staff
  • Reporting lease or house rule violations when observed
  • Responding appropriately to emergency maintenance situations
  • Following company policies and procedures

Basic Requirements
  • Reliable transportation
  • Authorized to work in the United States

  • Valid driver's license required
