What You'll Do

As the Maintenance Technician, you will help ensure the property is well-maintained, safe, and welcoming for residents and visitors. We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to help maintain a 35-unit apartment community in Le Grand, CA. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and values creating a safe and well-maintained environment for residents.

Experience with general building maintenance and landscaping is preferred, and experience with affordable housing programs (HUD, LIHTC, or RD) is a plus.

• Completing maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner
• Performing general maintenance tasks including painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs
• Assisting with preventative maintenance to ensure building systems remain in good working condition
• Maintaining the grounds and landscaping to support strong curb appeal
• Assisting with annual apartment inspections and identifying maintenance needs
• Working with the Property Manager to coordinate vendors and order supplies
• Maintaining positive relationships with residents, vendors, and staff
• Reporting lease or house rule violations when observed
• Responding appropriately to emergency maintenance situations
• Following company policies and procedures

• Professionalism and strong listening skills
• Experience with subsidized housing programs (HUD, LIHTC, or RD) is helpful
• General building maintenance skills including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
• General groundskeeping and landscaping experience

Basic Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Access to a personal smartphone with email, messaging, and app functionality (usage reimbursed)
• Valid driver's license required
