Job summary

Emerson in Brenham, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment for safe, efficient operations. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, read schematics, and diagnose mechanical/electrical issues to minimize downtime.

Role requires strong problem solving, teamwork, and commitment to safety; includes 3rd shift with weekend days and a $2.00/hour shift differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, reading schematics.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and maintenance software.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Interpret drawings, schematics, and manuals to diagnose issues.
• Operate DVMs and various diagnostic tools to test systems.
• Assist with PLC programming and basic troubleshooting.
