Job summary
Smithfield in Nashville is seeking a maintenance technician to review work orders, diagnose issues from blueprints, and perform hands-on repair across mechanical, electrical, and piping systems. You will use SAP to create work orders, coordinate parts, and test equipment to ensure proper function.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED plus 1+ years in industrial mechanical maintenance.
- Experience in food manufacturing is preferred.
- Ability to read and follow technical documents and write daily reports.
- Works well in a team and follows safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Review work orders in SAP and determine tools, time, and parts.
- Read blueprints and schematics to diagnose complex issues.
- Perform hands-on maintenance, repair, and testing of equipment.
- Install and maintain mechanical, electrical, and piping systems.
- Follow preventive maintenance schedules and SOPs.
- Adhere to LOCKOUT/TAGOUT and GMP safety standards.
