Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our 3rd shift at a GMP food manufacturing facility in Nashville, TN.

You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment—conveyors, automated canning lines, and PLC-controlled systems—to maximize uptime, product quality, and food safety. The role requires strong electromechanical skills, experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, servo drives, and sensors, and the ability to work independently overnight on a rotating

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/trade school certification preferred.
2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in GMP-regulated environments preferred.
Experience with conveyors and automated packaging/canning equipment.
Working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs; programming a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance on production equipment, including conveyors and canning lines.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and controls issues to minimize downtime.
Diagnose and repair sensor systems, PLC programs, servo drives, and VFDs.
Read electrical schematics and PLC logic to support repairs and improvements.
Maintain GMP, food safety, and sanitation standards; document activities in CMMS.
