Job summary

Worldwide Foam is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift in Elkhart, Indiana. You will troubleshoot and repair production equipment to keep downtime to a minimum and ensure safe operation.

You’ll work with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, read schematics, and support preventive maintenance. Experience in industrial maintenance and PLCs/VFDs is a plus; adherence to safety and LOTO is required.

Maintenance Technician – 3rd Shift

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 10:00 PM–6:30 AM

Worldwide Foam is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our second-shift team in Elkhart, Indiana. We're looking for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, solving problems, and taking ownership of keeping production equipment running safely and efficiently.

In this role, you'll handle both planned maintenance and unexpected equipment issues. You'll work closely with production to diagnose problems, complete repairs, and get equipment safely back into operation while minimizing downtime. Just as importantly, you'll help identify recurring problems and find solutions that keep them from happening again.

Our maintenance team works with a variety of industrial equipment and mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. You may be troubleshooting motors, sensors, switches, conveyors, pumps, bearings, cylinders, valves, electrical components, and other production equipment throughout your shift.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience and strong mechanical troubleshooting skills. You should be comfortable working independently, prioritizing maintenance needs, and responding to equipment issues in a fast-paced production environment.

A working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics is important, along with the ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals. Experience with PLCs, VFDs, welding, fabrication, and automated manufacturing equipment is a plus.
