Job summary

TalentSource is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift in Goshen, IN and Elkhart, IN. The role supports maintenance across multiple sites within a one-hour radius, handling preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs, and equipment changes.

The ideal candidate will be able to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, operate a forklift, and work both independently and in teams.

Qualifications

Are you a maintenance technician looking for a new opportunity on 2nd shift? We have an exciting position available in Goshen, IN and Elkhart, IN!

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining equipment across multiple locations within a one-hour radius. Maintenance will include a variety of preventative maintenance, unplanned downtime, planned downtime, and emergency repairs.

Essential Functions

• Responsive to preventative maintenance plans, maintaining accurate scheduled PMs
• Maintain and repair hydraulic valves/equipment
• Maintain and repair pneumatic valves/equipment
• Maintain and repair machinery using electrical schematics
• Maintain a clean working environment within maintenance shops, as well as plant floor spills, oils, etc.
• Assist in performing mold and die changes as needed using proper equipment (forklift)
• Replace heaters and paper on bag sealers used in the production process
• Assist with machine settings for the plastic and rubber extrusion process
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment failures

PLEASE NOTE:

This opening is for a 2nd shift maintenance position. Candidates must be able to complete up to 8 weeks of training on a morning shift schedule ranging from a 5 am to 8 am start time.
