Job summary

Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the physical functionality of the resort, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.

You will perform repairs across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC and masonry, inspect areas for maintenance needs, and maintain detailed records. This is a full-time, year-round role on the 3rd shift, with benefits such as PTO, health plans, 401(k) matching, and more.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel or hospitality maintenance preferred.
• Ability to perform repairs across multiple trades.
• Ability to work in 3rd shift, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC and masonry.
• Inspects guestrooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas for repairs.
• Repairs or replaces components like bulbs, switches, outlets, faucets, toilets, and fixtures.
• Maintains records of repairs and flags areas needing attention or a room out of order.
• Supports preventive maintenance program with other team members.

Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician, you will maintain the physical functionality of the facility including our guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Performs a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electric, painting, HVAC and masonry.
• Inspect guestrooms, public space, back-of-the-house, and heart-of-the-house for areas to repair, touch up or replace.
• Repairs, or replace items such as light bulbs, lamps, switches, outlets, faucets, toilets, hardware, filters, paint, furniture, wall coverings, caulking, grouting or other miscellaneous items.
• Assists other department team members in the systematic application of the preventive maintenance program.
• Makes records of repairs made, reports completed repairs, or places areas needing further attention or a room 'out of order.
