An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift. Hours: Wed-Fri, Rotating Sat and Sun 8:30 p.m.-7:00 a.m. (Hours May Vary)
Wage: Based on qualifications
High noise, varied temperatures (warm to cold), slippery floors, moving equipment and dust may be present. Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required.
Desire 3+ years’ experience in a mechanical capacity, including installation, troubleshooting and equipment repair. Desire a MN State Specialist Class Boilers license or higher. Prior experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, plumbing and PLC’s. Ammonia refrigeration and preventative maintenance experience is a plus. Must be able to stand for 8 hours per day. Ability to frequently bend, lift and twist. Display positive attitude and teamwork skills. Ability to function both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Company will provide the required tools & equipment necessary for functioning in this position. Employees will be required to wear safety shoes and will be provided with prescription safety glasses if needed. Employees will wear safety equipment as it relates to the requirement for the task.
Awarded job selections are based on the following criteria, but not limited to: Work experience, job evaluations, HR records (attendances, warnings, notices, etc.), personal interviews, job related test (math, typing, etc.), previous training and/or education, and length of service with Brakebush Brothers, Inc.
If you have been in your current salaried position for less than six months, you must have approval from your VP before applying for a new salaried position that is at a lateral job/wage level or lower. If you are applying for a salaried position, after less than six months in your current position, and it is at a higher job/wage level, you do not need approval.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check are required.
