Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor
Department: 3rd Shift Maintenance Department
Classification: Full-Time, Hourly, Nonexempt
Physical Classification: 1-8 (see Maintenance/Utilities Back & Task Chart)
Hours: Wed-Fri, Rotating Sat and Sun 8:30 p.m.-7:00 a.m. (Hours May Vary)
Wage: Based on qualifications
High noise, varied temperatures (warm to cold), slippery floors, moving equipment and dust may be present. Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required.
Desire 3+ years’ experience in a mechanical capacity, including installation, troubleshooting, and equipment repair. Desire a MN State Specialist Class Boilers license or higher. Prior experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, plumbing, and PLCs. Ammonia refrigeration and preventative maintenance experience is a plus. Must be able to stand for 8 hours per day. Ability to frequently bend, lift, and twist. Display positive attitude and teamwork skills. Ability to function both independently and in a team environment.
Company will provide the necessary tools & equipment. Employees must wear safety shoes and will be provided with prescription safety glasses if needed. Safety equipment must be worn as required for the task.
Selections are based on work experience, evaluations, HR records, interviews, tests, training, education, and service length. Approval from VP is required for certain internal applications based on duration and level.
