Job summary

Wis-Pak in Quincy, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep equipment running smoothly and safely. You’ll respond to trouble calls, perform preventative maintenance, and document work carefully. The role supports a team and emphasizes high standards of sanitation and efficiency.

You will follow GMP and safety policies, operate tools, and may travel to technical schools for training. This full-time position offers benefits and a stable schedule.

Responsibilities

• Performing bench repairs and using power tools, welding/cutting equipment, and lifts as needed.

About the Role

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a critical role in maintaining equipment, responding to trouble calls, and performing preventative maintenance--all while upholding the highest standards of safety, sanitation, and efficiency.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Following all established safety, health, quality, Food Safety, GMP, and company policies and procedures.
• Responding promptly to equipment trouble calls and performing efficient, sanitary, and safe repairs.
• Conducting preventative maintenance and documenting tasks, time, and any deficiencies.
• Performing bench repairs and operating power tools, hand tools, welding/cutting equipment, and man lifts as needed.
• Completing and filing all required documentation in an organized and timely manner.
