Pratt Industries is seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians for the 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) in Valparaiso, IN. You will maintain and repair equipment turning recycled paper into box products, ensuring safe operations and steady production.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting 3-phase power and electricity.
• Knowledge of AC/DC motors and motor starters.
• Familiarity with gearboxes, gear reducers, PLCs, and VFDs.
• Understanding hydraulics and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read tape measures and basic math.
• Commitment to industrial safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair machinery at the facility to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues to minimize downtime and keep production running.
• Follow safety procedures and use tools correctly to complete tasks on schedule.
