Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift) - Electrical, Mechanical, Controls - Wooster, OH

Pay Range: $27.00 - $40.00/HR | Permanent Position with Benefits

A 100-year-old food manufacturer is seeking Maintenance Technicians responsible for the efficient and safe operation of all plant areas, including processing, packaging, warehouse, and utilities. Technicians will collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations teams.

The ideal candidate will have skills in electrical, mechanical, and controls, troubleshooting and maintaining automated equipment such as fillers, case packers, palletizers, process systems, ammonia refrigeration, boilers, air compressors, and utilities.

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or G.E.D., technical certifications preferred
• Ability to follow GMP and Safety protocols
• Proficiency with maintenance management software (CMMS) preferred
• Experience in food/dairy production environment preferred
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand, bend, and work in various positions
• Understanding of electrical schematics, troubleshooting 480V 3-phase, low voltage controls, VFDs, servos, welding (MIG, TIG, Arc), pumps, valves, gearboxes, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, mills, lathes, PLCs (SLC 500, PLC 5, Logix 5000), conveyors, utilities systems
