Role Summary

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for planning, executing, and following up on preventive maintenance of our physical plants and equipment. This role also handles emergency repairs for machinery and building systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain various production equipment including grinders and tape machines.
• Rebuild, maintain, or repair shop equipment.
• Perform HVAC, forklift, and related projects in the absence of service agreements.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for repairs and modifications.
• Manage inventory and work with purchasing on parts.
• Operate and maintain systems such as chilled water, compressed air, and vacuum.
• Assist with building and grounds maintenance.
• Ensure work areas and equipment are safe, clean, and in good condition.
• Complete preventive maintenance schedules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Attention to detail and dexterity.
• Ability to work quickly, accurately, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Physical ability to lift 15-25 lbs frequently, up to 50 lbs occasionally, with team lifts for heavier loads.
• Prolonged standing and repetitive tasks.
• Ability to wear PPE properly and work on elevated platforms.

Additional Information

2nd shift hours: Mon - Fri, 2:15 PM - 10:30 PM. Training on 1st shift is required for up to 2 months to ensure success in this role.
