Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Warrenton, MO is seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Tech focused on the mechanical and electrical performance of automated production machines used in glass manufacturing. This role reports to the Plant Manager and is a hands-on, reliable team member essential to keeping equipment running smoothly.

You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and assist in root-cause analysis to reduce downtime, while contributing to a safety-first, quality-driven maintenance

Qualifications

• Experience with troubleshooting, repair, overhaul and operation of high-speed production machinery both electrical and mechanical.
• Experience with industrial electrical equipment, CNC, PLCs/Driver and motors.
• Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the mechanical/electrical performance of several automated production machines or equipment that perform one or more function in glass.
• Maintain and observe operation of machines and equipment to ensure the production of high-quality glass.
• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on equipment in a safe and efficient manner and make repairs as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks in order to increase equipment run time between failures.
• Assist management in root cause analysis when failures occur.

The 2nd shift Maintenance Tech is focused on mechanical/electrical performance of automated production machines and reports to the Plant Manager.

This role is perfect for an individual who hands on, responsible, with great communication skills. A vital member of the Maintenance Team, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.
