Job summary

Actus Nutrition in New Holstein, Wisconsin is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our plant team. This role focuses on preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance of buildings and equipment, with an emphasis on safety and quality. Shift is 2nd shift, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Pay is based on experience. Candidates should have strong mechanical aptitude and be willing to obtain forklift certification; experience with boilers, flow monitoring, PM logs, and facility upkeep

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude is required.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Forklift certification is required or must be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, routine and emergency maintenance of buildings and equipment.
• Monitor pressures and flow rates of equipment.
• Monitor boiler performance, water and air quality.
• Maintain PM logs.
• Perform general facility maintenance including welding (sanitary and structural).
• Keep management informed of potential issues.
• Maintain sanitation log records and timeliness.
• Operate forklift as needed and ensure safety compliance.
• Collaborate with outside vendors and contractors on facility projects.

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the New Holstein, WI team.

Pay: Based on Experience

Shift: 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm Monday-Friday)

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform duties related to preventative, routine and emergency maintenance of buildings and equipment.
• Monitor pressures and flow rates of equipment.
• Monitor boiler performance, water and air quality.
• Maintain PM logs.
• Perform general maintenance on the facility, welding – sanitary and structural.
• Keep Management informed of potential issues.
• Maintain sanitation log records and timeliness.
• Certified to drive the forklift.
• Must follow all LOTO, PRCS and all safety procedures.
• Work with outside vendors and contractors – on projects for the facility

Maintenance Technician Requirements:

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Must have desire to learn, show initiative and able to pass Forklift License Certification.
