Job summary

Actus Nutrition in Fond du Lac, WI is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee and troubleshoot the plant's buildings and equipment, including preventative, routine and emergency maintenance. This night-shift role runs 12-hour shifts from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM on a rotating schedule; pay is based on experience.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of industrial maintenance experience, strong mechanical, electrical, and PLC knowledge, and a willingness to join a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years maintenance experience preferred or equivalent skills in a food processing plant.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Desire to learn, show initiative and able to contribute to a team environment.
• Forklift License Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and troubleshoot maintenance of buildings and equipment, preventative and emergency maintenance.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on plant machinery.
• Diagnose and repair equipment in a milk-products processing plant.

The Maintenance Technician has the responsibility to oversee and troubleshoot all operational, utility and maintenance related issues as it relates to the preventative, routine and emergency maintenance of buildings and equipment.

Shift: Night shift role working 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule (5:00PM-5:00AM)

Pay: Based on experience

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• To oversee and troubleshoot all operational, utility and maintenance related issues as it relates to the preventative, routine and emergency maintenance of buildings and equipment.
• Performing maintenance on building and equipment as needed involving preventive maintenance
• Diagnosing and repairing equipment in a sophisticated milk-products processing plant.

Maintenance Technician Requirements:

• Previous industrial maintenance experience with a strong aptitude in the areas of mechanical, electrical and structural maintenance.
• Must be self-motivated, have ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment, and be willing to contribute to a team environment
• Knowledge of PLC's and ammonia a plus.
