Job summary

Actus Nutrition in Jerome, Idaho is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the day shift in a food manufacturing environment. You will maintain and repair buildings and equipment, monitor pressures and boiler performance, and keep PM and sanitation logs up to date.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to pass Forklift License Certification. The position offers competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance and a robust 401(k)

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative; able to obtain Forklift License Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, routine and emergency maintenance of buildings and equipment.
• Monitor pressures and flow rates of equipment.
• Monitor boiler performance, water and air quality.
• Maintain PM logs.
• General maintenance of facility, welding – sanitary and structural.
• Keep management informed of potential issues.
• Maintain sanitation log records and timeliness.
• Certified to drive forklift.
• Follow all LOTO, PRCS and safety procedures.

Maintenance Technician - Days (Maintenance)

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the Jerome West team.

Pay: Based on experience

Shift: 5am-5pm 2/2/3 rotation, every other weekend

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform duties related to preventative, routine and emergency maintenance of buildings and equipment.
• Monitor pressures and flow rates of equipment.
• Monitor boiler performance, water and air quality.
• Maintain PM logs.
• Perform general maintenance on the facility, welding – sanitary and structural.
• Keep Management informed of potential issues.
• Maintain sanitation log records and timeliness.
• Certified to drive the forklift.
• Must follow all LOTO, PRCS and all safety procedures.

Maintenance Technician Requirements:

• Previous maintenance experience in food manufacturing preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Must have desire to learn, show initiative and able to pass Forklift License Certification.
