Kapco Metal Stamping, a leading contract manufacturer, seeks a Welder II for our Grafton, WI location. You will operate robotic welding cells on the 1st shift or weekends, ensuring quality and accurate handling of fixtures and parts. The role emphasizes safety and hands-on training to advance skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily operation of the robotic welding work cells.
• Safe operation of robot loads and unloads fixtures and ensures the overall quality of welded parts.
• Performs quality checks using proper measuring devices during operation and completes quality records.
• Ensure all boxes have tare weight, proper tagging, and proper counts.
• All other duties as assigned.

Welder II - Kapco Grafton, WI

Primary Responsibilities

• Daily operation of the robotic welding work cells
• Safe operation of robot loads and unloads fixtures and ensures the overall quality of welded parts
• Performs quality checks using proper measuring devices during operation and completes quality records
• Ensure all boxes have tare weight, proper tagging, and proper counts
• All other duties as assigned

Skills for this position are gained through on the job training. This includes changing of tips, opening the program needed, and running a bulls-eye when needed. Mechanical aptitude, physical dexterity, and knowledge of welding are recommended.
