Job summary

Scotts Miracle-Gro in Oxford, PA is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair equipment across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, electronic, and pneumatic systems. You’ll service conveyors, packaging, grinding and stacking equipment and assist in installation and fabrication as needed.

Required: prior maintenance experience, manufacturing experience preferred, ability to lift 50 lbs, read measurements, and perform basic math.

Qualifications

• Prior relevant maintenance experience.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Prolonged and repetitive motions required (standing, twisting, kneeling).
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Teachable attitude and ability to learn on the job in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to read numbers, product descriptions, and maintain written records.
• Ability to push button, monitor controls, and perform basic math functions.

Responsibilities

The hourly rate pay for this position at Scotts/Hawthorne will generally fall between $28.60 - 38.75 per hour and is paid weekly. Scotts/Hawthorne will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.

We are looking for a 2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic who will join our team in Oxford, PA.
