Job summary

The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company in Oxford, PA is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The hourly rate pay generally falls between $28.60 - $38.75 per hour and is paid weekly, with factors considered for actual pay based on skills, qualifications and location.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, electronic, and pneumatic systems, along with installation support, welding, and equipment inspection.

Qualifications

• Prior relevant maintenance experience.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability for prolonged and repetitive motions of standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending, climbing, reaching overhead and arms/hands dexterity.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Teachable attitude and ability to learn on the job in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to read numbers, product descriptions, and maintain written records.
• Ability to push button, monitor controls, and perform basic math functions.
