Job summary

National Beef in North Baltimore, Ohio is hiring a Maintenance Technician for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Starting pay up to $33.50 per hour with a perfect attendance bonus and strong benefits package.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting with installation of new equipment. Knowledge of 480V motors, drives, and Allen Bradley PLC is a plus.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and electrical maintenance experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Willingness to work overtime and be on time when scheduled.
• Experience with 480V systems and motor controls.
• Industrial maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and building systems
• Rebuild, repair, and/or replace equipment/machinery
• Perform preventative maintenance—Lubrication/inspection
• Assist with installation of equipment and machinery
• Troubleshoot/repair/replace industrial electrical equipment—Motors, Drives, controls
• Log work activities for equipment history, parts management and reporting
• Collaborate with management and other departments regarding maintenance issues throughout the facility
• Other duties as assigned

Competitive Wages and Benefits:

• Starting wage $29.50 per hour
• $1 per hour shift differential for 2nd Shift/3rd Shift
• $3.00 per hour Perfect Attendance Bonus paid weekly

Responsibilities

Maintenance Technician for 2nd Shift responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

This is a safety sensitive position. This position is on‑site.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the maintenance technician position should possess the following:

• Mechanical skills and understanding of basic power transmission equipment
• Ability to use common hand tools
• Basic computer skills
• Willingness to work overtime and be on time when scheduled
• Ability to read, write and speak English preferred
• Strong work ethic and eye for detail
• Exemplary safety record (with previous employer)
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Industrial Electrical controls experience
• Electrical experience in 480V and motor controls
• Industrial Maintenance Experience
• Refrigeration Experience
• Allen Bradley PLC experience a plus

Qualified candidates for this position will be required to successfully complete the background check.
