Job summary

National Beef in North Baltimore, OH, is seeking a Weekend Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team Friday through Monday. Starting wage is up to $32.50 per hour with a $1/hour differential for 2nd/3rd shift and a $3/hour Perfect Attendance Bonus, plus benefits and weekly pay.

Prior industrial maintenance or electrical experience is preferred and eligibility for background checks is required. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health/dental/vision, life and disability

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial maintenance or electrical systems preferred.
• Weekend/flexible shift availability required.
• Must be able to pass background check and be 18+.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and building systems.
• Rebuild, repair, and replace equipment/machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Assist with installation of equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot/repair/replace electrical equipment such as motors and drives.
• Log work activities for history and parts management.
• Collaborate with management and other departments on maintenance issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Starting wage $29.50 per hour
• $1 per hour shift differential for 2nd Shift/3rd Shift

Responsibilities

Maintenance Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Troubleshoot and repair of mechanical equipment and building systems
• Rebuild, repair, and/or replace equipment/machinery
• Perform preventative maintenance- Lubrication/inspection
• Assist with the installation of equipment and machinery
• Troubleshoot/repair/replace industrial electrical equipment- Motors, Drives, controls
• Log work activities for equipment history, parts management and reporting
• Collaborate with management and other departments regarding maintenance issues throughout the facility
• Other duties as assigned

This is a safety sensitive position. This position is on-site.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the maintenance technician position should possess the following:

• Mechanical skills and understanding of basic power transmission equipment
• Ability to use common hand tools
• Basic computer skills
• Willingness to work overtime and be on time when scheduled
• Ability to read, write and speak English preferred
• Strong work ethic and eye for detail
• Exemplary safety record (with previous employer)
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Industrial Electrical controls experience
• Electrical experience in 480V and motor controls
• Industrial Maintenance Experience
• Refrigeration Experience
• Allen Bradley PLC experience a plus

Qualified candidates for this position will be required to successfully complete the background check.

Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
