Job summary

National Beef is seeking a Weekend Maintenance Technician in North Baltimore, OH to join the on-site team Friday through Monday. Starting wages begin at $29.50/hour with a $1 shift differential for 2nd/3rd shifts and a $3.00/hour Perfect Attendance Bonus, with weekly payroll and comprehensive benefits.

Qualified candidates will troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install equipment, with industrial electrical and refrigeration experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Mechanical skills and understanding of basic power transmission equipment.
• Ability to use common hand tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willingness to work overtime and be on time when scheduled.
• Ability to read, write and speak English preferred.
• Strong work ethic and eye for detail.
• Exemplary safety record (with previous employer).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Industrial Electrical controls experience.
• Electrical experience in 480V and motor controls.
• Industrial Maintenance Experience.
• Refrigeration Experience.
• Allen Bradley PLC experience a plus.
• Qualified candidates for this position will be required to successfully complete the background check.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair of mechanical equipment and building systems.
• Rebuild, repair, and/or replace equipment/machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance- Lubrication/inspection.
• Assist with the installation of equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot/repair/replace industrial electrical equipment- Motors, Drives, controls.
• Log work activities for equipment history, parts management and reporting.
• Collaborate with management and other departments regarding maintenance issues throughout the facility.
• Other duties as assigned.
