Job summary

National Beef in North Baltimore, Ohio is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 2nd and 3rd shift. Starting wage up to $32.50 per hour with a $1 shift differential and a $2.50 per hour Perfect Attendance Bonus paid weekly.

This on-site role offers competitive pay, benefits and a safety‑minded work environment. You will troubleshoot, repair and maintain mechanical equipment and building systems, assist with installation, and log activities for equipment history.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial maintenance or electrical systems.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Willingness to work overtime and be on time when scheduled.
• 18 years of age or older and eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and building systems.
• Rebuild, repair, and/or replace equipment/machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance - Lubrication/inspection.
• Assist with installation of equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot/repair/replace industrial electrical equipment - Motors, Drives, controls.
• Log work activities for equipment history, parts management and reporting.
• Collaborate with management and other departments regarding maintenance issues throughout the facility.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Starting wage $29 per hour
• $1 per hour shift differential for 2nd Shift/3rd Shift
• $2.50 per hour Perfect Attendance Bonus paid weekly

Responsibilities

Maintenance Technician for 2nd Shift responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

This is a safety sensitive position. This position is on-site.

Qualifications

• Mechanical skills and understanding of basic power transmission equipment
• Ability to use common hand tools
• Basic computer skills
• Willingness to work overtime and be on time when scheduled
• Ability to read, write and speak English preferred
• Strong work ethic and eye for detail
• Exemplary safety record (with previous employer)
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Industrial Electrical controls experience
• Electrical experience in 480V and motor controls
• Industrial Maintenance Experience
• Refrigeration Experience
• Allen Bradley PLC experience a plus

Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
