Job description

Summary: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of production equipment and the facility. The role involves working with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and controls. Logical-thinking and troubleshooting skills are essential. This position is vital for the safe and efficient operation of the facility.
Working hours are Monday through Thursday, 2:00 pm - 12:00 am, subject to change based on business needs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO - MAINTENANCE:

• Safety: Always ensure the physical safety of yourself and your coworkers without exception.
• Assist the production team with efficient start-ups and equipment performance throughout the day.
• Inspect machinery for proper performance, detect faults, and diagnose malfunctions using testing equipment.
• Perform repairs and maintenance to keep machinery in optimal condition.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing systems.
• Perform general facility maintenance tasks as needed.
• Determine materials, equipment, and supplies required for daily maintenance and complete work orders accurately and timely.
• Support and maintain plant preventative maintenance programs.
• Assist in managing chemical and repair parts inventory.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred; additional mechanic training or trade school is a plus.
• New graduates from technical programs are encouraged to apply.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and other systems.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively on complex projects.
• Good interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with a variety of tools and applications.
